• 20+ years of work experience in the immigration field
• 13 years in private practice
• Volunteered with ICCRC from its initiation
• Member of DARC committees for the past 5 years and chair of the Complaints Committe
• Co-chair of CAPIC's educational committee in 2009
• Lobbyist before CBSA and other stakeholders on behalf of CAPIC
• Member of  the Executive Board of the Canadian Polish Congress (2005 - 2006).
• Volunteer for Canadian Polish Congress administering the self-exiled class program (1989 - 1990)
• Assistant professor in the faculty of law at the University of Warsaw (1978 - 1986)
